Planning digital signage for your premises
Digital signage presents information through a screen, allowing the content and display hardware to be considered as one project. A useful brief begins with what viewers need to see, where they will see it and how the information will be maintained. Browse the display ranges above to compare formats and available priced options. Contact us for help with a larger installation or an uncertain specification.
Define the location and content
Describe the proposed position, viewing distance and surrounding lighting. Include whether the screen will show menus, promotions, visitor information or another type of content. The environment affects the display specification, so indoor and outdoor requirements should be identified clearly.
Plan content management
Explain who will update the screen, how often it will change and whether several locations need coordinated content. Ask for any media player, software or subscription requirements to be identified separately. Do not assume those components are included with a screen.
Prepare an enquiry
Send Banners&Boards the proposed dimensions, mounting location, number of displays and intended content. Note available power and connectivity where known. Hardware, installation and content-management options can then be checked before a specification is agreed.
