    Care & Display Guidance

A little care helps keep your banners, boards and displays looking their best between uses. Start with the instructions for your exact product.

Match the care to the product

Materials, inks, coatings and hardware vary. Follow the product page and any supplied assembly or care instructions first. If you are unsure which material or display you have, contact us with your order number before cleaning, fitting or altering it.

    FLEXIBLE PVC & MESH

    Clean gently. Store dry.

For suitable vinyl banners, use a soft cloth with water and a mild soap solution. Test a small inconspicuous area first and wipe gently.

Avoid solvent cleaners, abrasive pads and pressure washing. Let the banner dry fully before storage.

    STORAGE

    Roll rather than crease

Where the product allows, loosely roll the banner around a clean core rather than folding sharply. Protect the printed face and keep it in a dry storage area.

Do not stack heavy objects on a rolled graphic or pack it while damp.

    ROLLER BANNERS

    Guide the graphic back slowly

Follow the stand’s assembly instructions. Use a level surface and the correct pole and support parts. Most indoor roller banners are not intended for outdoor exposure.

Guide the graphic into the base; never let it snap back. Do not force a jammed mechanism. Store the dry unit in its protective bag and lift by the base.

    SIGN BOARDS

    Protect faces, edges & corners

Keep boards supported during handling and transport. Protect corners and separate printed faces from rough or dirty surfaces.

Dust gently with a soft cloth. Before using water or a cleaning product, confirm it suits the exact board, print and coating. Avoid bending or scraping panels.

    FLAGS & FABRIC

    Check before washing

Washing and drying instructions vary by fabric, print process and hardware. Do not assume all fabric graphics can be machine washed or ironed.

Use the product’s instructions, separate any removable hardware as directed and ensure the material is fully dry before packing.

    VINYL & STICKERS

    The surface matters

Adhesive performance depends on the vinyl, surface and application conditions. Check the product’s application instructions before fitting.

Do not assume a vinyl is suitable for every paint, glazing or textured surface. Ask before applying where removal or surface damage is a concern.

Before you put it on display

    LOCATION

    Choose a suitable spot

Check indoor/outdoor suitability, the supporting surface or structure and exposure to wind, weather and heat. Keep displays clear of doors, walkways and equipment.

A printed graphic is only one part of the display; the support and fixing method must suit the location too.

    FIXINGS

    Use the right support

Follow the product and hardware instructions. Do not assume screws, ties, bases, poles or other fixings are included unless the product listing says so.

Mesh still catches wind. Do not cut improvised wind slits or add holes to a finished graphic without advice.

    CHECKS

    Inspect during use

Check the graphic, hardware and fixings for wear or damage and after changes in conditions. Stop using damaged components and contact us if you need help identifying a replacement.

For elevated, exposed or public-facing installations, use a suitably competent installer to assess the location and fixing method.

    Packing away after an event

    1. Check the graphic and hardware for damage.
    2. Remove dust or dirt using the method suitable for that product.
    3. Let everything dry fully.
    4. Use a protective bag, tube or packaging that prevents crushing and abrasion.
    5. Label the graphic and keep the correct hardware together for next time.
