Why choose fabric mesh instead of PVC materials
Fold the fabric mesh for packing, storage and transport. Compared with many PVC alternatives that need rolling around a core to avoid creasing or pinching, it is simpler to move and handle on site.
At 230gsm, the fabric weighs less than many PVC-based choices, which can ease installation on larger projects. A 3375mm × 1780mm Heras fencing graphic, for example, weighs about 1.4kg in fabric mesh, compared with approximately 1.9kg in a PVC equivalent.
Lower weight helps during fitting and across installations with many banners. The polyester construction and machine-sewn hems retain durability, while the mesh structure allows air through more readily.
A 100% polyester composition provides an alternative to PVC for businesses and organisations considering environmental targets or procurement policies. It can help meet project requirements where PVC materials are unsuitable.
Artwork
Provide 50mm bleed for Fabric Mesh Polyester artwork to accommodate hems, shrinkage and movement during production and trimming.
Notice
The tight-knit mesh may still allow some light to show through when illuminated from behind.
Graphics arrive folded in polybags. Creases can be ironed out or will fall out when the fabric is tensioned.
Black or white thread is selected to complement your graphic.
Standard pricing covers up to 3 metres on the shortest edge. Larger fabric prints need a bespoke quotation.
Consider both the artwork and how the banner will reach the installation point. Foldable packaging and a lower material weight are useful when several graphics need to be moved around a site. The sewn hems, airflow and washable finish help make fabric mesh a practical choice for repeat use. Confirm the finishing requirements and graphic dimensions before ordering, allowing the required bleed in your file.
